On this page, you’ll find information about services provided by the unemployment fund that may be helpful in your job search. These services are intended for members of the Sotekassa Unemployment Fund.
Personal Coaching for Job Seeking
Take part in a free digital coaching service. The service is available online, and you can access it whenever it suits you.
You’ll have access to an AI coach named Sisu Seppä, who can help you refine your CV, write job applications, and prepare your elevator pitch. You can find the coach on the Finnish-language pages of the UP Career Coaching portal at https://www.urapalvelut.fi/sotekassa/portal/chat/index.aspx. However, you can also chat with the coach in English.
The AI coach is available 24/7 and can discuss topics that are relevant to you. It answers your questions and provides personalised feedback.
The AI coach has been trained using 25 years of coaching experience and follows the same principles as human coaches. The conversations are designed to be supportive and help you find your own answers and solutions.
Job Search Videos
Sotekassa offers you job search-related videos in collaboration with the coaching company UP Partners. Would you like to improve your CV, make sure your application stands out to recruiters, or polish your interview skills? We’re here to help you stand out!
English-language videos can be found on the UP Career Services portal by selecting English from the language menu at the top of the page.
Getting Started with the UP Career Services Portal
- Go to: urapalvelut.fi/sotekassa
- Log in using your email address (leave the password field blank the first time)
- Create your own password
- Enter your unemployment fund membership number
- If you can’t find your number, log in to the unemployment fund’s eServices. The information can be found on the Contact data page under the My data.
