You can see our current processing time under ‘Application processing time’. There, we indicate the completion date for applications that we are currently processing. Although we process applications every working day, the date displayed on the website may not change every day. This is because the number of applications varies, and on some days we receive lots of applications. We receive the most applications at the turn of the month.

The processing time is also affected by whether we have received all the necessary information. You can speed up the processing of your application by submitting all the necessary attachments with your application. Check the instructions for attachments here. If we need more information, we will contact you.

Processing times vary by the type of application, as different applications require different types of further clarification. We process applications in the order in which they are received.

Processing times for various types of applications

First applications

When you apply for a daily allowance for the first time, or after a break of several months, your application is called a first application. When you submit your first application, we will check all conditions for payment and calculate the amount of your daily allowance, provided that you meet the employment requirement. For this reason, first applications often take longer to process than other applications.

Applications for mobility allowance and applications for transition security allowance are also considered to be first applications.

Adapted follow-up applications

The Fund receives two types of follow-up applications, that is, applications submitted after the first application. These follow-up applications are divided into adapted applications and other follow-up applications.

If you earn income from part-time work, full-time work lasting maximum of two weeks, or part-time self-employment, you can claim an adjusted daily allowance. To process these applications, checking of salary and working time data is required, which is why it takes a little longer to process adapted follow-up applications than other follow-up applications.

Other follow-up applications

A follow-up application is an application submitted after the first application, in which you declare that you are wholly unemployed, laid off, or in training. These applications rarely require special processing and therefore result in payment reasonably quickly.

If you report changes in your application, it may take a little longer to process. However, it is important that you report any changes, as the law requires you to inform us about matters affecting your right to benefits.

Follow the status of your application in eService

You can follow the progress of your application in our eService. The service displays the date your application was received, and the stages of processing.

You can find the information as follows:

  1. Log in to eService.
